General Report On The Project Progress
Target I. To develop proposals for amendment of federal and regional legal frameworks with the view of their compliance with the main norms and principles of social protection of the disabled stipulated in the UN Convention on The Rights of Persons with Disabilities adopted in December 2006
Target II. To work out draft standards of social rehabilitation services for the disabled and recommendations for their practical implementation
Target III. To analyse the “Federal list of rehabilitation measures, rehabilitation technical means and services provided to disabled persons” and to suggest recommendations on developing and adopting similar lists in the pilot regions
Target IV. To work out recommendations for accreditation of organisations providing rehabilitation services within the framework of comprehensive rehabilitation process
Target V. To develop interdisciplinary curricula for re-training of social rehabilitation professionals
Target VI. To develop full-time curricula and distance training courses for higher and vocational educational institutions which provide training in social rehabilitation services for the disabled
Target VII. To develop training modules for teaching staff
Target VIII. Development and Testing of Pilot Models of Comprehensive Rehabilitation for Each of the Target Groups of the Project
Target IX. To promote services provided by governmental and non-governmental organisations participating in the rehabilitation process on equal terms and Target X. To promote effective interaction between all institutions active in the provision of services to the disabled
